Juniper House

A boutique glamping website where wellness meets nature.

Juniper House is a conceptual boutique glamping resort website designed to provide users with a seamless booking experience while communicating a calming, wellness-focused brand identity. My goal was to create an intuitive, visually cohesive experience that reflected the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat.

Overview.

  • Timeline: 3 weeks

  • Role: UX/UI Designer and Researcher

  • Tools: Figma + FigJam

  • Type: Concept Project

Many accommodation websites overwhelm users with cluttered layouts and inconsistent branding. I wanted to create a simple, inviting experience that made it easy to explore accommodations, wellness offerings, and book a stay.

The Challenge

Based on interview findings, I created a primary user persona representing busy professionals seeking a peaceful weekend escape.

User Persona.

Example: Emily Carter, 29, is from Birmingham, AL. She is full time marketing manager looking for a peaceful, quiet, getaway from the city for the weekend.

To create an intuitive experience, I organized the website around the primary tasks users wanted to accomplish: learning about Juniper House, exploring accommodations, discovering wellness offerings, viewing the property, and booking a stay. The navigation was intentionally kept simple to reduce friction and help visitors quickly find the information they needed.

The final structure included six main pages:

  • Home

  • Wellness

  • About

  • Contact

  • Book Stay

Each accommodation also has it’s own dedicated page, allowing guests to easily compare options before booking.
